A Dream built in rural idaho

I moved to Idaho from WA State in 2024. I ended up finding this beautiful part of Rural Idaho that was as far from opposite that I grew up knowing. I have always had a passion for dogs and countryside living. I knew somewhere in my adult life that is what I wanted, I found it here in Riggins Idaho.
I found a job that opened my eyes to a greater need in the community. It inspired me to follow my dream of creating a dog boarding and rescue center. I realized that many pet owners in rural areas, often have to travel long distances to find safe, reliable care for their dogs.
That's how Paws By the Salmon River was created
here in Lucile Idaho. A place designed to provide a safe, loving environment for dogs when their owners can't be with them.
As a dog owner myself, I understand firsthand how stressful it can be to travel and go places that aren't pet-friendly.
Constantly wondering where to find a trustworthy place where your dog won't feel stressed or lonely is something many of us face.
Here at Paws by the Salmon River, we provide peace of mind, a place where your dog is treated like family, feels safe and is cared for with love.
